Sanitäter pouch marked Karl Barth, Waldbröl 1939

Textbook early brown leather Sanitäter or medic pouch in very good condition. The pouch still retains the original paper contents list/label on the inside of the lid but is sadly missing the insert to divide it into compartments. The pouch is nicely marked Karl Barth, Waldbröl 1939. The pouch is marked with a capital S which indicates that this was issued to a Sanitäter or medic. It also features the capital L which indicates this is the pouch from the set which was supposed to be carried on the left side. Excellent example!
