2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK | 4-Row Extruded Tube Aluminum Radiator The JK Was Built to Go Anywhere. Your Radiator Needs to Keep Up. The Wrangler JK has a reputation for doing things radiators hate — heat soaking on the trail, crawling through rock gardens at low airflow, towing a trailer on a hot day after a full morning off-road. The factory plastic-tank unit was built to a cost target, not a performance standard, and the thin-walled tubes in the OEM core are exactly where it gives out first. This 4-row extruded aluminum radiator is engineered specifically for the 2007–2018 Wrangler JK with the 3.6L Pentastar or 3.8L V6. It drops directly into the factory location — no modification, no adapter brackets, and full compatibility with the stock fan, A/C condenser, and transmission cooler. The tube is the differentiator. Most aftermarket aluminum radiators are built from tubes formed by rolling and joining a flat strip of aluminum, which creates a longitudinal seam along every tube wall. That seam is a stress point, and under the thermal cycling a Wrangler sees on the trail — heat soaking, rapid cool-down, heat soaking again — it’s where cracks start and leaks develop. Most brands TIG weld only the end tanks, leaving that joint in the core untouched. Fluidyne uses extruded aluminum tubes — formed as a single continuous extrusion with no seam along the tube wall. That failure point doesn’t exist. Every tank, fitting, and seam is then finished with premium TIG welds throughout. The result is a radiator that is genuinely heavy duty, built to last, and engineered to be the last one you ever put in this Jeep. 5mm fin pitch. Most aftermarket radiators use 8mm. That’s a 60% increase in heat sink surface area. Fin pitch determines how much aluminum surface is exposed to airflow per square inch of core. Most aftermarket radiators use an 8mm fin pitch — Fluidyne’s JK radiator uses 5mm, which increases heat sink surface area by approximately 60% over those units. In a stock JK that means lower steady-state temps. In a built or lifted rig running at low speeds with a hot engine, it’s the difference between managing heat and chasing it. The 4-row core combined with the 5mm pitch gives you more cooling capacity than the factory radiator within the same physical envelope — no cutting, no clearance issues, no fighting the factory shroud. This unit ships with a high-pressure radiator cap and magnetic drain plug. Note: Fits the stock 3.6L Pentastar and 3.8L V6 JK. Not intended for HEMI or other engine swap applications — see RJP.JKHEMI for HEMI conversion fitment. Fitment: 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK | 3.6L Pentastar V6 & 3.8L V6 | Crossflow | 22″ core
