2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK | HEMI Conversion | 4-Row Extruded Tube Aluminum Radiator A HEMI in a JK Is a Statement. Make Sure the Cooling System Can Back It Up. Dropping a HEMI into a Wrangler JK is one of the most committed builds in the off-road world. The engine makes serious power, generates serious heat, and puts thermal demands on the cooling system that the factory radiator was never designed to handle — and neither were most of the aftermarket aluminum units built for it. A HEMI swap deserves a radiator engineered to match the ambition of the build. This 4-row extruded aluminum radiator is purpose-built for the 2007–2018 Wrangler JK HEMI conversion. It mounts directly in the JK engine bay with no fabrication, no adapter brackets, and full compatibility with the stock fan, A/C condenser, and transmission cooler. The tube is the differentiator. Most aftermarket aluminum radiators are built from tubes formed by rolling and joining a flat strip of aluminum, which creates a longitudinal seam along every tube wall. That seam is a stress point, and under the sustained thermal load of a HEMI — high idle temperatures, aggressive towing, long trail days — it’s where cracks start and leaks develop. Most brands TIG weld only the end tanks, leaving that joint in the core untouched. Fluidyne uses extruded aluminum tubes — formed as a single continuous extrusion with no seam along the tube wall. That failure point doesn’t exist. Every tank, fitting, and seam is then finished with premium TIG welds throughout. The result is a radiator that is genuinely heavy duty, built to last, and engineered to be the last one you ever put in this build. 5mm fin pitch. Most aftermarket radiators use 8mm. That’s a 60% increase in heat sink surface area. Fin pitch determines how much aluminum surface is exposed to airflow per square inch of core. Most aftermarket radiators use an 8mm fin pitch — Fluidyne’s HEMI conversion radiator uses 5mm, which increases heat sink surface area by approximately 60% over those units. On a HEMI-swapped JK that’s running more displacement, more combustion heat, and more thermal load than any factory Wrangler engine, that additional surface area isn’t a nice-to-have — it’s doing real work every time the rig gets pushed hard. This unit ships with a high-pressure radiator cap and magnetic drain plug. Note: This radiator is built specifically for HEMI conversion applications in the 2007–2018 JK.
